Simona, Practice Development Leader

Practice Development Leader

Simona

Simona is thoughtful, patient and genuinely enjoys helping people grow. She has a natural ability to put people at ease, listen without judgement and encourage confidence in others.

Originally from Lithuania, Simona holds a Bachelor of Education Sciences (Social Education), recognised in Australia as equivalent to an Australian bachelor’s degree, along with a Certificate IV in Ageing Support. Her background spans education, disability, aged care and community services, giving her a broad understanding of people at different stages of life.

She believes everyone has something to offer and that the best outcomes come from meeting people where they are. Whether supporting a colleague or someone accessing services, Simona brings kindness, consistency and a calm approach to every interaction.

Outside of work, she values lifelong learning, meaningful relationships and creating spaces where people feel safe, respected and understood.

Rae, Team Leader

Team Leader

Rae

Rae is practical, approachable and naturally good at helping people feel comfortable and included. She brings a calm, reliable presence to the team and leads in a way that is supportive, respectful and hands-on.

Her background includes disability coaching, customer service and community volunteering. This experience has strengthened her ability to communicate clearly, respond to different needs and remain steady in busy or changing environments.

As Team Leader, Rae supports staff to feel confident in their roles while maintaining a strong focus on the people accessing services. She notices what needs attention, follows through and is always willing to step in and help. Rae values consistency, teamwork and creating an environment where people feel heard, respected and able to be themselves.

Outside of work, Rae has contributed to animal welfare, environmental conservation and community initiatives addressing food insecurity. These experiences reflect her practical nature, strong sense of responsibility and genuine care for people and the wider community.

Systems & Advocacy

Compliance Team

Our team helps people make sense of complex systems and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

We bring experience across disability, neurodiversity, advocacy, coaching, community services and business. That means we understand both the human side of support and the systems behind it.

We help identify what is getting in the way, explain the options, build practical next steps and connect people with support that fits their life.

We are direct, thoughtful and outcomes-focused. We challenge unnecessary barriers, ask the right questions and work alongside people rather than making decisions for them.

Common Human is built around one clear idea: better support starts with understanding the person, not just the label.
